Life's a beach

We are on the beach starting in late Spring (typically from April for the adults and May for the younger ones). We use the beach to train for running and beach games like flags, and we get in the ocean as much as we can.

We swim and board, and older nippers and upwards will get out on surf skis too, with our surboat and IRB also making appearances.

If you want to find out about any of this, get in touch.

Here's what happens

Beach sessions on Croyde Beach - Meeting at the club hut by the National Trust carpark

6.30 – 8.15pm Weds evenings
9.30 - 11.15am Sunday mornings

7-9pm Monday for experienced and beginner masters

  • We run a session for experienced Masters (suitable for anyone who is comfortable in the sea and has some basic fitness - you don't need to be insanely-fit)

  • Also on Monday nights we run a beginners session aimed at getting people back in the water in a supportive environment, complete with club lifeguards. This kicks off Monday 6 May and is open to anyone.
